MARY AGNES WILSON

A respected resident of Welland for the past 43 years, Mrs. Mary Agnes Wilson, wife of William James Wilson, 29 Church street east, passed away at her home yesterday in her 63rd year.

Deceased was born in Chatham, where she  received her early education. She also attended Toronto Normal school. She married in 1895 and in the same year took up residence in Welland. She was a member of Esther chapter, No. 2, O.E.S., Hamilton, and took an active part in fraternal affairs until recent years. Deceased was a Methodist in faith.

Mrs. Wilson leaves to mourn her husband; four sons, Thomas of Niagara Falls, and William, Norman and Ardell of Welland; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Newton, Buffalo, and Miss Madeline Wilson, Niagara Falls; one brother, George Ghant, St. Thomas, and one sister Mrs. Annie Mills, Detroit.

The remains are resting at Sutherland’s Funeral Home, 152 Hellems avenue, whence the funeral will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon to Woodlawn cemetery.
