MRS. GARLINDA PEACOCK

Mrs. Garlinda Peacock, late of 158 West Main St. W., passed away on Wednesday Nov.22 at the Welland General Hospital.

Mrs. Peacock was born in Milwaukee, Wisc., but had lived in Welland for nearly fifty years. When she first came to Welland she was a milliner at Lahey’s Store, and later she operated the Peacock Tourist Home on West Main St.

Predeceased by her husband Percy Peacock in September 1950 Mrs. Peacock is survived by one sister Miss Louise O. Widder and sister-in-law Mrs. Louise Widder, both of Milwaukee. She is also survived by a niece and nephews.

Rev. W. McLeod of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church will conduct the service from the H. L. Cudney Funeral Chapel, 241 West Main St. on Saturday Nov. 25 at 1.30 p.m. Interment will be in Fonthill cemetery.
