Samuel Adley, born in Wainfleet and died in 1907, was my Great Grandfather. His son, Louis K. Adley, was married to Rosa Elilia Benoist (Benoy) in 1898. They resided in Dunn, NC, USA. Their daughter, Elizabeth Adley, born in 1917, was my mother. She married Elwood Rowe Edwards, and they resided in Greenville, NC, USA. My mother graduated East Carolina University and taught school for 35 years. My father owned a successful wholesale business. Both are deceased. I am Cheryl Edwards Skinner, born 1948, graduated East Carolina University, worked in pharmaceuticals and taught at the Community College, retired. I have three children.
