ALBERT SHISLER

A few weeks ago Albert Shisler met with an accident. He failed to rally and died on Saturday. He was 69 years old. For many years Mr. Shisler resided on a farm near Ridgemount. His wife, Jane Winger, who survives, also three sons, Solomon, Harve and Ray and a number of grandchildren.

Funeral services were held from his late home on Monday to the Tunker church, Stevensville. The service was in charge of  Bishop Bert Sherk, assisted by Elder Jesse Winger and Bishop D.R. Eyester Thomas. The pallbearers were Fred Lichtenberger, Harve Noxell, Geo. Miller, John Miller, James Laur, Garnet Laur. Interment took place in Ridgemount cemetery.

Severely injured in chest by bull followed by pneumonia (Death certificate).

ALBERT SHISLER

Albert Shisler, well known farmer of the Niagara Falls district, died early this morning at his home in Ridgemount in his 70th year. Born in Ridgemount, he had lived there all his life. Surviving relatives are deceased’s widow, Jennie, three sons, Sol of Stevensville, and Harvey and Ray at home; one daughter, Miss Pearl at home; three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Horner, Mrs. Lucy Chapman and Mrs. Maude Barrett, all of Buffalo; also two brothers, Dave in Vancouver and Jesse in Oregon, U.S.A. The funeral will be held from the late residence to St. John’s cemetery, Ridgemount, at 2 p.m., next Monday.
