The sad news reached here on Wednesday morning last of the death (10 February 1925) in Peoria, of Mrs. Elmond (Elmon) Ayers, formerly Birdie Ellmore of that city. The deceased leaves besides her husband, one son Floyd; also her parents, one brother and one sister. Mr. and Mrs. Ayers lived here on his father’s farm until fourteen years ago when they returned to Peoria, where they have since lived but visited relatives here every couple of years, the last time being in August. Mrs. Ayers was not in the best of health then. Much sympathy is extended to the bereaved one by relatives and friends here.
