ROSALIE FABI

The death occurred at the residence of her daughter, Mrs James Potyok, 437 Oakwood avenue, Humberstone, yesterday of Rosalie Fabi, wife of John Fabi, in her 62nd year. Death followed an illness of some three years.

The late Mrs Fabi was born at Forgolany, Hungary, and had resided in this district for the past 35 years. She was a member of All People’s Mission, Port Colborne.

Surviving are her husband, John; four sons, George Steve, John and Joseph in Port Colborne and Humberstone. Three daughters, Mrs Joseph Sathmary, Lorraine, and Mrs James Potyok and Miss Helen Fabi, Humberstone; 15 grandchildren and two sisters in Hungary

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 10, from the Dell  and Merton funeral chapel at 2p.m. to Oakwood cemetery Rev Chas Farkas will conduct the service.

Funeral

The funeral of the late Rosalie Fabi, wife of John Fabi, whose death occurred at her daughter’s residence 437 Oakwood avenue, Humberstone, on Monday, was held yesterday from the Dell and Merton funeral chapel, 50 Clarence street, Port Colborne to Oakwood cemetery. Rev Charles Farkas of Welland conducted the service which was largely attended by relatives ad friends including those from St Catharines and Buffalo, N.Y.

The pallbearers were Frank Sperhar, Thomas Goyvik, Charles Hegedus, George Pinter, Steve Potyok and Geza Szabo.

Among a number of beautiful floral tributes were those of the Humberstone Ten Pin Bowling league, Girls of the third floor of the Humberstone Show Co., Bridgemen and scrapmen of the old end of No 5 buiding at International Nickel Co., and employes of Humberstone Shoe Co.
