Salem, Nov. 19- Salem United church W.A. and W.M.S. held their November meeting at the home of Mrs Franklin Blanchard on Wednesday, November 10.

Mrs Anna Thompson is spending a few days with her sister, Mrs Minnie Vaughan at the home of Mr and Mrs Jake Traver.

Mrs Janet Chambers is ill.
Pte. Ruth Neale, C.W.A.C., Toronto, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr and Mrs L.F. Neale.
Mr and Mrs Bruce Hosgkins of Welland called on Mr and Mrs Amos Robbins on Sunday

Mr and Mrs Clifford Lane and family of Silverdale were Sunday guests of Mt and Mrs George Miller and family.

Charles Comfort, Mrs Stella Crown, Dorothy and Phyllis, visited on Saturday with Mr and Mrs T.F. Neale and family.

Mrs C.E. Strawn spent Tuesday in Welland visiting with her daughter-in-law, Mrs Earl Strawn.

Mrs Amos Robbins and daughter Rose Marie, visited with Mr Elmer Hodgkins at Campden on Tuesday.

Visitors of Mrs C.E. Strawn last were Mrs H. Farr, Mrs E. Swick, Mrs M. Farr Farr.Mrs E. Hayward, Mrs E. Farr. Mrs C. Willford and Mrs G. Reece.

Mrs Mary Metler of Welland spent last week with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr and Mrs Geo Metler.

Mr and Mrs Bruce Berry and daughter Betty spent Saturday with Mr and Mrs Jake Traver and daughter Irene.

Mr and Mrs Eduard Hayward ad Leroy spent Sunday with Mr and Mrs Frank Ginther at Port Colborne

Mr and Mrs George Metler and son Donald, Mr and Mrs Amos Robbins and Mrs Kenneth Lane and daughter, Rose Marie, were in Dunnville on Thursday.

Tpr. J. B. Wiley of the west coast spent his leave with his wife and parents, Mr and Mrs Lorne Wiley.
