SALEM [Welland Tribune October 9, 1943]
Salem Oct, 9-Salem United church services were conducted on Sunday by the pastor, Rev. James Hampson. At the close of the service world-wide communion was observed. Next Sunday harvest home will be celebrated at eight o’clock.
Mrs Edward Hayward spent Saturday afternoon at the home of Mr and Mrs Earnest Brown and family.
Mr and Mrs C.E. Strawn attended the funeral of the late Nelson Brady on Tuesday.
Toronto friends called on Mr and Mrs Harry Farr on Tuesday.
