WALTER MISENER – DIARIES [Apr 17 - 23, 1898]

Sun April 17/1898
I drove down to  Arts then to church at Salem had dinner at Mr Moore’s went for drive in evening.

Mon April 18/1898
Worked oats ground plowed a little Went after Mrs Coleman at Perry. Showers last night.

Tues April 19/1898
Moved straw off of hay. Trans planted spruce trees. Frank K house burned.

Wed April 20/1898
Yesterday rained all day. Showers worked at farm along the spruce.

Thur April 21/1898
I worked at picket fence. I set out twelve peach trees two grapevines. It was quite cold the wind in the west.

Fri April 22/1898
I worked at picket fence and made a pig box. It rained nearly all day.

Sat April 23/1898
I  worked at picket fence fresh milks cow today. It was cloudy all day wind in north. Roads very muddy.
