Sun May 22/1898
We had a very heavy thunder storm I drove over to Salem. Wind in the south west.
Mon May 23/1898
I drove over to R. Mootes I repaired fence around orchard and opened ditches on corn ground worked at odd jobs in house and barn. Wind in south west.
Tues May 24/1898
I repaired fence around garden also repaired fence around pasture field done odd jobs in house little shower last night wind in the west.
Wed May 25/1898
I worked on terris drew a load of sod drew out one load of manure Sam and Cyrus helped to move coal stove I drove over to Perry Station wind in the north.
Thur May 26/1898
I picked up pieces from building picket fence I pulled out and picked up roots on corn ground done odd jobs in house drove over to Fenwick wind in north.
Fri May 27/1898
I dug post holes and put doors on shed I helped in house a little wind in southwest drove down to fathers.
Sat May 28/1898
I plowed part of the garden and planted a few potatoes I took pig over to R. Mootes wind in the south very warm
